James Arthur Ville (1988 – present) lives in Southern Oregon. His career as an artist began when he watched television shows such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dragon Ball Z, which inspired him to draw and eventually illustrate digitally. His specialty is comic book art, anime, and fantasy/sci-fi. His resume includes having published book covers, children’s books, web comics, and graphic novels.
Raising Dragons Graphic Novel is a comic book adaptation of the best-selling novel by Fantasy author, Bryan Davis. James was the illustrator for the graphic novel. Be on the lookout for more graphic novels, either adaptations or his own stories. His favorite artists include Scott McCloud, Art Spiegelman, Ken Akamatsu, and Akira Himekawa.
In his spare time, James enjoys playing video games with his kids. They also spend their weekends hiking and reading books. His family means everything to him and that’s what drives him to work hard and provide for their needs.
